OK.. IRL I Have this WILD  hair.. It is untamed.. and if you TRY and tame it it rebels.. and looks very sad.. It needs freedom to express itself. rotflmao... I have cut it.. dyed it... greased it.. flat ironed it.. curled it permed it... and well  lets say.. Other than the color my hair has 98.9% bad hair days..

Its carefree... and insane just like me..  

But.. that brings me to this ....

Second-life is a fantasy world for Trichophiliacs..  SO many to choose from.. some good some not so good.. some silly some sad. some newb... some ugly.. and some just fantastic..

If your anything like most second-life females.. your inventory is half HAIR..

in every color and style.. after a while you get a certain style..

Well this was one of those days..

 I decided to take myself to a friend of mine.. Who was posing as a hairdresser..

* Did I say POSING.. oh yeah.. I should have known..

*in real life this always fraught with anxiety*

My vision for myself and theirs never match up.

And this is just what happened.. I wasn't happy at all.

 I was downright...UPSET that the long wait in the rollers ended up an EPIC failure..

I RAN...to his shop and fixed my problems right up... Nothing like having the best ever hair..I highly recommend his hair.. I barely if ever have to adjust it.. its pretty no brainer.. and easy.. to fit...I didn't care that I looked a fool with my straw hair.

 I mean look at the bald chic and the lil Newbie chic on the other side..

Their were two cute styles offered this week. The Daisy a nice lil innocent ponytail with a Daisy behind the ear. Menu driven with ease to change the flower color with one thoughtful and special feature the ability to make the flower invisible.. I loved this because if you love the hair and you think you have to pass it up because it has a flower VIOLA!! presto.. POOFS all gone wiht the click of a menu.. pretty swift...

The Other is called Marguerite

Despite being one of the busiest guys I have ever spoken too with his thriving business..

*You would know this if you ever popped into the Sim after the arrival and announcement of new hair.  Its a lag-fest of epic proportions.. And he has thoughtfully added his hair to SLX for those of us not willing to wade through high arcing Av's to get the latest and greatest.*

He is a friendly chap and usually will answer you in a fairly decent amount of time if you have issues or questions..  One of the reasons I will stop shopping at a place is if I get bad vibes from the creator. Never once has he ever been other than a perfect

gentleman and businessman in my many many dealings with him .. The first several weeks I was his customer I IM him with my bad purchase wrong hair colors and other issues totally my fault and every time I got service with a smile..

So if you haven't already * Because lots of Bloggers blog his newest hair and there is plenty of exposure.... *

go here and get some hair.. If your a newb.. he has a cute lil freebie and some lady gaga bows.. to get you through your first days til you earn Lindens.. or you give in and buy them like I do..

Lots of low risk hair. not to wild great classics.. and well textured.. The man knows his hair building skills.. Now if I could coax him into making some Squishy Hair.. Something risky and wild...

The Other Moon

Sometimes I just wander about and run into things...
My journey leads me from one place to the next and eventually I end up somewhere interesting. Today I have found a magical connection so that I can show you..  Secondlife in its best
lights..   I wandered into the shop called

:+:Studio Sidhe:+:

And met this delightful Fae girl who goes by the name of Faery Sola.  I introduced myself to her via my standard note card.. The blah blah Blogger one and she replied within a decent amount of time while I was still hopping from one pose to the next in  her shop... I complimented her on her work of course. Because I do not blog something I wouldn't actually buy or do buy.. 

 she was so happy and full of herself.. it made me smile.. she had this charm and playful wit that on several occasions she set me to giggling.. Her character was small and adorable  and she has very much what I would imagine to be the Fae folk temperament.. and attitude. Mischievous  innocent playful... teasing..

I could easily see how these creations I was hopping on from pose to pose had come from her mind's eye..  They were delighting me and stirring my own imagination and I landed upon a favorite and purchased it due to her ruthless sales pitch.

But for now I am going to give you my interpretation of what I saw when I was posing so that you can get an idea of just how versatile her poses are...

Thought provoking is the words I whispered into her IM box and I am sticking to that. There were different poses  listing from windows with pouring rain and stairs with my favorite Peek a Boo Pose ...

Very basic and useful.. Great for us bloggers and easy to fit into any scene you can imagine... from stairways to heaven to the streets..
I challenge you to get yourself a copy and show us what you can do..
Just on a sidenote.. none of the photos in this blog are touched up in any way.. The lighting and vision is all Secondlife.. My view of the world I walk every day.. No tricks no gimmicks but plenty of props.. I love props  I am very WYSIWYG *what you see is what you get* in my photo creating..

My view on her faery moon and her bubbles came out completely different from her own.. Mine a bit dark and light and Other moon oriented..

Ever my hero Dirk was there to pop my bubbles and bring me back from the reverie and magic I was conjuring...My imagination ca run amuck and Dirk was there to help me escape from the bubbles that are probably my lil head overheating like a cars radiator..

 Not to worry The Sidhe Moon - is the second New Moon to occur in any one solar month and is considered to be the reflection of the New Moon in The Otherworlds.It will not be coming about for a few years. August 31st 2012... I have plenty of time to contemplate moon magic and how I will reach for it..... until then..

I honestly was disappointed in most of the things there..

I couldn't find anything I would actually buy that wasn't  * YAWN *...

 I could have just missed a few places because I am ADHD like that.. and I need instant gratification...

But lately. I am kinda getting bored to death with designs   it's like they all run into one another and if I bother to  send you a note card its because I seen something special and I would really like to ....

I have found out its not that damn easy... people ignore your note cards  or call you a blegger.* my word for BLOGGER BEGGER etc.. and I am not really good at convincing anyone to.. give me an opportunity I usually end up jsut makign them mad.. or getting banned cus I wont always agree that being snobbish is the best way to be and I am just not going to run around blogging on crap I  wont actually pay for..

A new discovery for me..

I of course instantly looked into her profile and yes there it is again..
I am.. so popular and busy please note card me because .. my IMS are capped...... 
I dont think my IMS have ever been capped... and I have lots of friends who have that very same thing written in there profile too.. wtf is up with that!

popularity and being CAPPED...
I bought two of her jackets because well honestly they are awesomely textured.. and they were shorty short and looked so cute.. they seemed versatile. 
And damn it  they were jsut incredibly hawt..

I grabbed a red one to match the dress I had on.. and was pleased to find adjustments were fast and simple.. I just had to move the body of the jacket down a a bit  so it wasn't all up under my chin like some kinda hunchback.. once this was solved.. the end result.. was awesome.. it fits well and doesn't interfere with the rest of my prims or hair it blends well and moves smooth.. the back is just a touch boxy but is still really well done.. SO.. here I am  in my jacket...  a short lil chunky jacket and I am happy with spending 420L for one.... and there were a few other styles of jackets I would have loved to show you. I made a fast stop at her main store to pick up a landmark and saw this very well dressed avi in what had to be one of  =DeLa*= coats.. a longer version so since I was strapped for cash and she was dressed up to snuff so I pulled her along for a lil photo shoot on the street corner..

I wanted to show these lil numbers can be worked into any style from sophisticated classy to street cute and trashy.. So me and my LUSHious new friend Kyriah Werefox hit the streets and showed off our stuff... SL was being a bitch and not letting my poses work properly so  Kyriah spent a lot of her time on her back... lol  But even looking laying there like a drunken street hooker.. she was rocking that coat and purse accessories..

short and sweet...  even though she * the designer *  never responded so that means customer service may be slow... I doubt you will be having too many issues or wanting to delete this one anytime soon... thumbs up... And la de dah... and all that .. I am just gonna sit here and stick my nose in the air.. and see if I can drown myself... roflmao

Have you ever wandered into a place and felt as if you wanted to know more?

The artist behind this avi I am wearing was brooding and quiet but friendly

I found him sitting quietly in his dark world wearing the very avi he had given me for my blog.

His normal avi is completely male and somewhat different, I have not met that particular entity i have met Only the persona captured without his knowledge by my camming the sim..

The thoughtful artist seeking inspiration to complete his many projects is pictured below as I found him.

I immediately announced my presence and we conversed shortly as I ventured about the simulation of his imagination.  There are other residence scattered about and occasionally you will find bits of evidence that there is someone living there besides Thadeous Ofeq

 

My conversation with him consisted mostly of compliments and my compliments began to bore even me so I stopped after raving about the thunderous skies of the Discordia sim. All made by Thadeous. I hinted that I was in love with the skies and wanted to purchase one but sadly at this time they are not available until he perfects the rez system so that it will be easy for his clientele to handle

Another wonderful surprise for me was his generous offering to gift me with this wearable art

Complete with her throne and crown made that made me feel a part of the scenery

The three headed avi blends in perfectly with the skins provided to me and the art in motion is well done.. tendrils fly about her as she walks or hovers on her throne. Its is a very imposing and majestic creation.. release date unknown as of March 2010

The picture above is of one of my favourite builds THE MOTHERSHIP underneath yet another version in yellow of the thundercloud that slowly moves and twists and fascinates. The prim count for this monster of a Mother ship was 236 if I recall correctly and the cyan beam will transport you aboard the ship from the ground.

This is something I am seriously happy with and so hard to photograph just how cool this really is..

There is also a massive monolith of a tower that spirals ever upwards like a giant stairway to the heavens themselves. and he supplies a place for you to rez this massive build.. I urge you to go now and view his builds even if you could never own such prim monsters..they are fun to look at or take pictures in.

Unexpected Fairy tales

The other day I was thinking Green again.. its Almost St Patricks Day and I have not looked up any hunts for green things and don't think I plan on it.. I still have last year's St Patricks Day crap still jumbling up my inventory.. I have to redefine what I need to have.. My obvious Choice here was not to hunt today...

SO... I revisited my inventory and found and old old old NYLA CHEEKY dress from 2006 Nyla's Genie Corseted Silk Cocktail Dress and if I recall that damn dress was nearly 1k because it was uptown  and high fashion.. And in real life Nyla is an artist and fashion designer so naturally she would extend that part of herself to the second-life fashion world. When I first purchased it I had seen the real life design and wondered how could it be anything but gorgeous.. Soon discovered some things are meant for photographs and you can't move in them.. It a fantastic textured dress with a terrible build... Even in the day when I bought it I never wore it because it was a mess.... the prim fit was just plain badly done..I think I am going to return to see if I can find an updated version.. Her real art is in real life.. this is just a picture worthy dress and as soon as this photo shoot is over i am tossing it out like the JUNK it has become total newb build with fantastic idea and texture..  I still love it even as I burn it... I just wish I had an opportunity to wear it in sl  and not just for a photo....  But not so sad since I have now gotten a sweet pic for my fairytale.... Do check out Nylas blog website she has some nice things to look at a real visual candy shop.  And here is a link to her Second Life shop. But unless she updates her second-life builds to sculpty gorgeousness I won't be going to her shop anytime soon.. ( mental note is it still in world?) It was a nice walk down memory lane and this pic is gonna be my 1k Linden shot...  then deleted.. So enjoy the nostalgia of it. its cute..

I was thinking French designs and high fashion and wanted to get a lil couteur so I pulled out my froggy friends and  and gave one a Frenchy  kiss.. 

just because it was like.. a magical setting and I had to fall for its cute lil ribbet noises and POOF..

I think it backfired  I became the FROG and there was nothing romantic about it..

but it is a cute lil fun things to wear that comes with a hud for eating flies with a long red tongue... and an animation that will have you hopping around shopping for a better dress.. lol... The one comes from a favourite of mine  and the same person who made the MAUSE.. the lil frog feet are fun and cute and playful . I would have showed you the froggles that go with it but hey.. I only have so much linden love for these designers out there...

Lost in the Forest

I was trying to figure out what next.. Yet again * sigh*  I pleaded and acted like a fool..

Trying hard to get a glimpse of a new shoe design.. and yet again I was met with a stone cold shouldered silence that screamed loudly.... Haute Couture is too snobby for me. And then I thought about it.. give it up leave that to the rest of the great bloggers out there.  I have my own style and flare and its uniquely me and there are many who love my little finds and mixes... I have a place in this blog eat blog world. And I don't need to cover something that is so mainstream and in your face stark raving screaming on the daily about how popular they are.. SO we all know them.. 
the SLebrities. 

Not saying I wouldn't love a freebee tossed at me but honestly a lot of my blogs will be about what I personally would buy... and have paid for.. I will make a note card to give to the few shops that I handpick the item I wish to blog but they don't always respond and look at you like your a begger...   I don't need anything I have enough in my inventory and enough I will buy to make plenty of blogs right out of my damn closet.. and so shall it be until I make a name for myself.. And that takes hard work I have seen fellow bloggers bust ass  doing nothing all day but taking pictures of  too many things given to them that they feel obligated to blog..  People complain but bloggers work hard for them not so free freebees..

So here it goes I was moping and kicking stones in my bare feet cus I was blatantly rebuffed cus I am a NEWB Blogger..
SO I actually decided to  read a few of my SPAMMICHES called group chatter.. and realised it was TWISTED FRIDAY... a day of blissful abandon.. when various artists make pretties and SHARE with there fellow twisties..  So I hobbled my self to Twisted Thorn textures for a lagfest of others gathering goodies galore..

When low and behold there was a light..

and it glowed brighter than any moody lil shoemaker could to attract my attention.. I love shiny things..  and I was drawn to it immediately my mouth hanging wide open in awe at the glowing glory of.. a PANDORA LIKE FORREST. and I ewed and awwed and set my lil butt right down for a pose or two before I clicked the take just one box set out for us twisties... The promo picture next to it priced it at a nice 699L and it was a heavy primmed beauty of 196 prims but hell if I cared... I loved it and bathed in the light for a few hours and watched the glowing sparkles rain down on my head.

After praising the designer creator Aamiene Despres and smiling hugely in her IM box... thanking her for it and letting her know I was blogging this shit.. it rocked... The pictures were taken at midnight and honestly they do not do it justice. its a nice large sized build but not overly large.. And it has two poses one animated and one not.. You could always add your ownposes  but this is rather comfy and well made for a nice peacefull chat with a pal..  It is Cheery and upbeat it is sure to lift a mood and de stress the drama ridden souls who wander across its path.

I went to her lil place -  which isn't so little by the way and found more plants mushrooms and assorted buildings.. garden and gazebos.. I didnt see the new Pandora like Forrest out yet today but I am sure she will be happy to sell you one.. And probably as of this blog she may even have it out.. check it out for yourself..

She seemed a little busy and slow to answer my IM but she eventually answered and was sweet and happy to help out.. So here you have it..
